Today people declare their love to others.
The legend says that Valentine was a priest in Ancient Rome who was sentenced to death by the Emperor Claudius II for marrying lovers in secret. In prison, Valentine healed his jailer's blind daughter, and the night before his executition he wrote her a lletter.
He signed "from Your Valentine".
This day is usually celebrated by people who are in love, but if you lide you can declare your love to your mother, your father or to your brother or sisters.
