When we think of a unicorn, we think of a magical white horse with a long spiralled horn on its head. The unicorn is a Scotland's national animal. It was adopted by the Scottish wrown in the 15th century as a symbol of royalty and power.
Te unicorn is said to have magical powers. People believed that unicorn horns could neutralize poison and cure diseases. But because unicorns did not exist, narwhals (not unicorns) were hunted for their horns. Narwhal horns were then sold as unicorn hornd!
Unidcorns have also inspired food and drink. You can find unicorns bagels, sushi rolls and cakes. In 2017, Starbucks created Unicorns Frappuccinos that change colour when you stir them.
